Crowns and Bridges
These two dental procedures enable us to quickly make repairs in a patient’s mouth when teeth are broken or missing.
With a crown, a weakened or broken tooth can be protected. Once a crown is placed, with proper care, that tooth can maintain its place in a patient’s smile for the rest of that person’s life. We also recommend a crown for a tooth that has had root canal therapy for added durability and strength.
A bridge is a fast way of replacing a missing tooth. The replacement tooth sits between two crowns which are placed over the teeth on either side of the gap. This may be used in lieu of a dental implant.
