Cleanings and Exams
Every appointment for cleanings and examinations gives us a chance to catch any small problem before it becomes a major one. We can also determine if our patients are taking good care of their teeth at home and instruct on a good at-home regimen.
Each time we see a patient, we have an opportunity to offer additional care to prevent cavities or tooth injuries. We may suggest fluoride treatments or sealants to reduce the incidence of cavities. For patients involved in sports, we may recommend a sports guard to prevent trauma to teeth.
