Lisa Richardson, DDS
I was born and raised in the Clear Lake area, so being able to practice in the Pearland and Friendswood area has been wonderful for me. My career in dentistry began in high school where I was fortunate enough to work in the summer and after school in my brother-in-law’s dental practice. The experience I gained and enjoyment of working with people prompted me to set my sights on dental school.
After attending Texas A&M University, I was privileged to attend Baylor College of Dentistry for my dental education. In my junior year at Baylor, I had the wonderful experience of working in public health clinics that specialized in children’s dentistry. I enjoyed it so much and loved working with the children so much that I immediately changed my course to become a pediatric dentist.
I was accepted into Baylor’s graduate pediatric residency immediately following my senior year and have had the blessing of working as a pediatric dentist at Dentistry 4 Children for 17 years now! I also recently became board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
The biggest joy to me is working with all ages of children. Because of my hospital training at Texas Children’s and Scottish Rite, I also have a great passion for treating children with special needs and patients with compromised health. Our team shares this philosophy as well as a genuine interest in each and every child and their needs for each visit.
Being a pediatric office, we provide many options for treatment so each appointment can be the best for your child’s needs. Nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, IV sedation, and hospital dentistry are all available to make your child’s experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Community and family
I have been a member of University Baptist Church for over 30 years and have enjoyed serving recently in women’s ministries. I have an active passion for mission work, both foreign and local. In my spare time I am in training for a triathlon and always looking for ways to continue to be involved in our community.
