Dr. Gonzalez, or “Dr. Tres” as his patients like to call him,graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 and completed his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2008. While a dental student, he was inducted into the OKU fraternity, which is one of the highest academic honors a dental student can receive.
Dr. Tres went on to receive his certificate in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, located in Dallas, Texas, in 2010. His pediatric residency program provided him with specialty training for infants and children, including those with special needs. During his residency, Dr. Tres had the opportunity to help children at numerous clinic sites including Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. In 2011, he was recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as being a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.
Dr. Tres is involved in various organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Nueces Valley District Dental Society and is a Texas Exes Life Member.
Dr. Tres and his wife, Ashley, are an active family with two sons, Conner and Easton. Dr. Tres is a huge sports fan, but especially enjoys following college football, basketball and baseball.
